SolarCraft Opens Location in Sonoma

Solar Industry Leader Expands to Sonoma

SolarCraft of Novato, an industry leader in solar electric and solar thermal energy system installations, announced today that they are opening an office in Sonoma to help accommodate their growing business in the valley.

Sonoma County is one of the top “solarized” counties in the Nation. With the recently launched Sonoma County Energy Independence Program, Sonoma County has more opportunity than ever to make the switch to solar both affordable and efficient.

“The new Sonoma office strengthens our presence in the Sonoma Valley and reflects our continuing growth in the area,” said John Maloney, Vice President Sales & Marketing at SolarCraft and Sonoma resident. “It brings us even closer to our clients.”

SolarCraft co-founder and President, Bill Stewart, is also a long time valley resident. The new office space at 414 West Napa Street is adjacent to SoloQuest Learning Center, also owned and operated by Bill and his wife Deborah. “All of us in Sonoma know how special this area is,” said Bill. “The unique combination of climate, strong local economy, environmental awareness, and the desire to be sustainable among local residents and businesses make it a great place for renewable and energy efficiency.”

SolarCraft was founded in 1984 and has installed over 4,300 solar energy systems, including more than 350 in the Sonoma Valley. Notable local clients include Cline Cellars, Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, FAHA Manor, Chanterelle HOA and the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Rincon Valley.
