Solar Industry Leader hires to accommodate growing business

SolarCraft, a leader in solar energy system installation, announced today several new hires to their sales team to help manage their expanding business.

James Holloway comes to SolarCraft as a solar sales consultant and customer. After having SolarCraft install a pool heating system at his home, he was impressed with the SolarCraft approach of tailoring each system based on the needs of each client. A background in sales, as well as a love for showing and explaining his own system, made him a perfect match for the SolarCraft team. James has a degree in Business Management from San Francisco State.

Ted Elliott is an exciting addition to the sales team. Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Ted recently graduated from UCSB with a degree in environmental studies. Since graduation, he worked on efficiency improvements as a property manager, installed solar systems with a local company and assisted in marketing for Solar Sonoma County, a local non-profit. He will bring fresh enthusiasm and is excited to work closely with the sales team.

Having taken early retirement three years ago from Hewlett-Packard, where for the previous seven years he ran a $300m business covering the North Western USA, Andrew Perrins has ‘seen the solar light’ and has decided to join SolarCraft. Helping the people of Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties enjoy the considerable benefits of green, free energy from the sun, Andrew will be primarily engaged in Business Development for the company.

In addition to the sales team growth, two accounting positions were also added to assist in the day-to-day operations at SolarCraft.

SolarCraft has once again been awarded the Best of Marin by the Pacific Sun’s annual reader’s poll to identify the best businesses in the Marin County. SolarCraft was also ranked as the #1 Solar Company by the North Bay Business Journal’s list of solar companies and earned a spot in the North Bay Biz Magazine’s Top 500 Companies in the North Bay.

In business since 1984, SolarCraft celebrates its 27th year providing renewable energy services to the North Bay. SolarCraft offers full-service solar electric, solar pool heating and solar hot water, including consulting, design, sales, installation, financing, monitoring and maintenance.
