Hard to know who is an honest, reliable solar company, right? Hire Robert Arnold at SolarCraft! We called 4 top-reviewed companies. 3 said we needed $60,000+ system and promised to generate 75+% of our energy bill. Only SolarCraft (who has Tesla and Enphase) shared the Lidar map and said our home was (unfortunately) not viable for solar due to location and shading. Honesty, transparency and the best systems and service! Hire SolarCraft!
I was very happy with our experience with Solar Craft. Very professional capable crew the whole way. I live in Larkspur and wholeheartedly recommend them to install your solar system and battery. Taylor was great in the quoting system, then the guys like Talon and Lee in the electrical and battery install. Really complex work but they made it look easy. And even with a change last minute they pivoted and made us happy. Thanks again to all of you!
SolarCraft is the best. We have been customers for over 30 years. They just finished installing a solar system with battery back up at our home..In addition to doing great work, they have great support and follow-up. Dave Berry in sales, Janell in Operations and Taylor in Tech are particular standouts. Add the fact that they are a long time, local, employee owned company…we cannot recommend them highly enough.
Family feel to their business and team, comes across in the interaction. Respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Service, not just solar, done right!!! Thank you Taylor Mansir and team - Janell, Lee, Chris, another Taylor, Andrew and more...!
I had a great experience with SolarCraft from beginning to end. They were professional, communicative, friendly, and informative. I chose them not only for their price but for the fact that they are a local business that I always want to support. Great job!
David Berry and his entire team were fabulous to work with! From start to finish the job went smoothly and I'm thrilled to be saving so much money each month on electricity! Bye-bye PG & E!!!
Efficient and high quality work. Our system performs beyond the initial prediction and expectations
Very impressed with the great communication and smooth process. Everyone from the salesperson, the project coordinators to the installers were professional and courteous. I’m a happy camper and would definitely recommend SolarCraft to my friends. Btw, I was skeptical of getting a battery in addition to the solar but now realize that the extra investment was well spent. It saved all the food in my freezer from spoiling during a recent outage.
All the folks I've worked with on the SolarCraft team have been honest and transparent, and they produce high quality work that they stand behind. Highly recommend to any person or organization looking to go solar.
Really pleased with SolarCraft’s attention to detail & professionalism. I would definitely recommend SolarCraft!
We were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish provided by SolarCraft in installing our solar panels and getting us online for solar energy. All the employees at SolarCraft were kind, responsive and professional throughout the project! Very high recommendation for this excellent company!
We initially met with David Berry in our home to discuss power usage based on provided monthly PG&E bills. His presentation was thorough and provided knowledgeable answers to our questions. We never paid a penny over the original estimate. Throughout the project we were kept informed by Janell Azevedo regarding installation scheduling which was challenging due to the heavy rains during the first quarter of 2023. The install team were very professional and on time; we knew immediately we were in great hands! Once the install was completed and signed off by our city inspector we worked with Chiara Rocciola, NEM Administrator, who worked directly with PG&E to get final approval to turn on our system.I highly recommend SolarCraft and their professional team!Brad & Christine AdamsSonoma, CA
SolarCraft is an outstanding, locally owned and operated, independent solar designer, installer and servicer. I highly recommend SolarCraft, and have recommended them to numerous friends and neighbors over the years. They have installed solar on both of the homes that I have owned in Marin County, and I am 100% satisfied with the work they've done and service they've provided over the course of nearly a decade since I first worked with them on my home in Corte Madera.
Very professional installer with good customer service.
Great work, super happy with my new solar system
SolarCraft provided a professional and expeditious installation at a competitive price. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
As a solar newbie, I didn't really know what to expect when it came to working with companies such as SolarCraft. But after a friend raved about them, I decided to take the leap and get solar for our house.I couldn't have been more grateful. From the first interaction all the way through the final inspection, SolarCraft was incredibly professional, always informing me of what they are doing and what to expect next. I'm sure there are many solar companies out there, but I can't recommend SolarCraft enough for all of their services. I am now a proud solar owner and definitely know a thing or two more thanks to the folks at SolarCraft!
We had panels and batteries installed. I was very surprised how quickly everything was accomplished. We have been running almost a month now, and the results are fantastic. Staff was very professional and courteous. Contract was straightforward with no vague language. Very unlike other companies I had tried. I highly recommend these people..
I had no idea how to go about choosing a Solar company, but luckily I have a close friend who's a professional builder, he knew exactly how to do all the upfront research, he chose 3 companies to bid, he was a tough customer, and to him SolarCraft was the clear winner. Then I watched as his project went off without a hitch, and I simply followed his lead. Sort of like being on a crowded highway, when suddenly an ambulance with sirens blaring flies past you, you get in the lane behind it, and then it's all smooth sailing for you, too. The initial meeting (with SolarCraft's Jon O'Day) went very well, with Jon making it easily understandable (even for me) what I needed--and didn't need--to keep the overall price in line, while delivering the ideal system for our specific needs. And all the way along, both the installation team and the behind-the-scenes office crew were equally professional, and every person I've met there has been a pleasure to work with. To make a long story short, my system's up and running now, the PG&E website shows that it's doing exactly what I'd hoped (essentially wiping out my electricity costs), I can monitor and control everything from SolarCraft's easy to use mobile app, and now---I know exactly how to go about choosing a Solar company.
SolarCraft is a wonderful Employee owned Company that ensures that their customers receive excellent products and services. We had SolarCraft install 24 panels and two Tesla batteries in March of 21, and they recently installed 6 more panels. There are many Solar Companies to choose from and I have explored many of these Companies, but I feel very confident in saying the SolarCraft is the leader in the North Bay. Taylor Mansir (Residential Clean Energy Consultant) was my initial contact at SolarCraft and he should be yours as well. I have gotten to know many of the SolarCraft team and they are all very professional and truly care about the environment. They are a client - first Company delivering the best in solar technology.Harold Duncan
SOLAR CRAFT IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL HIGH QUALITY COMPANY. THEY DID NOT TRY TO SELL THE GIMMICKS OTHERS COMPANIES TRIED. THIS WAS EASY YOU JUST PURCHASE AND OWN THE SYSTEM. I LIKE THAT THE PANELS I PURCHASED ARE MADE IN AMERICA. EACH STEP OF THE PROCESS HAS IT'S OWN SPECIALIZED TEAM (DESIGN-ELECTICAL-INSTALLATION-QUALITY CONTROL ETC). THIS WAS A VERY PLEASANT, STRESS FREE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. THEY TOOK CARE OF ALL PERMITTING WITH THE CITY AND PAPERWORK WITH PG&E. THEY HAVE REACHED OUT TO ME A FEW TIMES TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS GOOD AND IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS. GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH.THANK YOU SOLAR CRAFT TEAM!
My new Enphase PV and Battery backed-up system installed by SolarCraft truly exceeds my expectations in every way including reducing my electric usage to less than zero. The SolarCraft team also exceeded my expectations during every step of the sales, evaluation, design, installation and commissioning of my system. Before contacting Solarcraft, I had done a lot of my own research about various systems and configurations in order to maximize the value of my investment. The SolarCraft team provided their own experience and prescriptive input to inform the ultimate design. The physical configuration of the Enphase system is compact and esthetically installed. My electrician even commented positively on the tidiness of the system. As an added piece of feedback, the Building Inspector shared with me that he also appreciates working with the SolarCraft teams because they do an excellent job and make his job easy.
Great company, Great people.
We had Solarcraft install a complete Home Solar panel and Full battery Back-up for our house. In summary, we are absolutely thrilled with how well this project turned out. Right from the initial discussions , the Solarcraft team was on top of all the issues including working with our city government to procure the necessary permits etc. The entire project was completed in about 90 days . We applaud the entire Solarcraft team...Darren, Talon, Josh, Corey and Janell ..thank-you for staying with us and taking us across the finish line. Your attention to detail and willingness to follow-up on all issues deserves applause as well as making sure that we always knew project status and next steps. the system has been operational for over a month now and the results exceed our expectations. Well done Solarcraft. Congrats to all of you .
We had Solar Craft install a new solar system last summer, with a Tesla Powerwall battery. It's been fantastic seeing how much solar is now powering our house, *and* knowing we have backup power. We had our first test of it recently during a power outage, and were so pleased that all the systems we'd hoped would be backed up did work, including the refrigerator, router/wifi, two computers and the heating system, as well as the TV and landline phones, overhead lights in a few rooms, and several electrical outlets. It was great to have no major disruption during the outage. (We opted not to get a second Powerwall, which would provide 100% backup for all circuits, given the extra cost and usually short duration of outages.)Thanks to the crew, who were very friendly and responsive during installation, for a great job setting it up.
