Winery Solar Electric Installation Project Profile

Treborce vineyards solar panel installation - SolarCraftDesigned and installed by SolarCraft, the 34.1 DC solar electric photovoltaic system at Treborce Vineyards in Healdsburg, CA, will lower their utility costs by almost $7,000 per year and reduce the environmental impact of their energy use.

The solar power system is ground mounted in the vineyard, powering the residence and the irrigation pumps, consisting of 110 high-efficiency 310 watt solar panels and 3 inverters.  The system will produce 47,331 kWh annually and deliver 100% of the power needs to the residence and ag pumps.

With a 25 year warranty and 40+ year design life on the major system components, this system will be positively affecting Treborce’s bottom line for many decades. With a federal tax break and improved solar technology, this clean, infinitely renewable power source is appealing to those looking for true sustainability and energy savings.

During the life of the system, over 837 metric tons of carbon dioxide will be eliminated.  This impact is equivalent to removing air pollution produced by almost 82,000 miles of driving annually or the pollutants removed by over 39 acres of trees in one year.

About Treborce Vineyards
Treborce Vineyards, first planted in 1999, has been producing phenomenal Zinfandel and Petite Sirah grapes ever since. That’s why so many of the wines made from Treborce fruit have won awards.
